20/8/2018 0 Comments Sumner MondayNot sure what to say 😔 today 😢 You see the daily Facebook Blogg was what happened to Sumner & the things we spoke about 🙄 so then I'd report his day to you all 🤕 Curtis, Perry, Torrie, & Bay-Hesty went to K2 for fitness training this morning & we had to go to finalise ☀️ Sumners Funeral Arrangement 😢 & then popped into to see Carla Spear & her charity shop window 🤗& sue got a big cuddle from her 💞 Funeral Directors went well & thanks to Anthea Barter & Bill Coates we now have a Video to play during the Reflection part of Sumners Service 😢 Thank you soo much Anthea & Bill 💖 The funeral directors have also been soo helpful & supportive & today we got details for the Webcast with login etc 🙄 A huge thanks to Harriet Maiden for helping us with her contacts for printing up the order of service which we will get in a day or so 🤗 & once again thanks to Trevor Howard for helping us draft the order of service up 💞 Had lunch with kids at home & Then James Joyce & James popped over to start preparing Sumners ☀️ memorial garden 🌻 & John Stephenswatched with intent to finish off the garden once settled 🙄 We have been touched by the posts, messages, calls & gifts 🤗 from many people 💞 unfortunately this still hurts 😢 sooo much 💔 thank you everyone that's reached out to us 💖 to try to help ease the pain of the loss of our dearest Sunshine ☀️ Sumner 💔 Please if you would really like to pay your respects 😔 too Sumner this Friday please contact by on personal message 🙄 Another squash training session for Team Malik 👊 then home for dinner 😔 dinner times are sad without Sumner helping & smiling 😢💔 & I for one always feel guilty having eaten without him 😔 & Suzan hardly eats anything 😢 luckily the children are eating well but that could be to do with they are throwing themselves into their Summer squash training 🙄 Please remember there are 5 ways to help with my treatment costs 🤕 & my family 😍 see links below 🙄 1) Direct Donations http://www.sunshine4sumner.com/ 2) Text: SUMN18 £5 to 70070 3) Just Giving Pages set up to Help My Cause 🤕 Dianes link https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/diane-eagle… Mike & Samis Link https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/walking4sunshine3… 4) Easyfunding https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/sunshine4sumner/ 5) Riverford (Quoting VegFund16) https://www.riverford.co.uk Sleep safe everyone 😢😢😢 Night night x 💔 x #sunshine4sumner #sumnerjourney

19/8/2018 0 Comments Sumner SundaySo none of us could get up this morning 😢 the kids needed to sleep in 🙄 But we didn't, couldn't & wouldn't want to wake up 😢💔 this morning we feel helpless & empty inside 💔 The pain inside us is constant 😔 & we talk & sort things 🙄 But in truth we've lost a huge part of our families journey 💔😢 Did that fing on fb of how a boy would look as a girl 😜 Sumner looked No different 😜 bless him 💖 Sue, Curtis, Perry, Torrie & Bay-Hesty all went to town 3pm ish 😔 coz needed some bits & I stayed home with ☀️ in feeling sooo lonely & lost 💔 When the others got home Mariola Clark popped down with cake, wraps & a fresh loaf that Robert Clark baked for us 💞 Thank You both 😍 & everyone else that's lighting candles & making special places to remember Sumner 🙄 thank you all it helps a little bit 💔 honest 🙄 Tania Rodd we hope that the music against cancer & fundraising went well this afternoon 💞🎼🎵🎶🎶 we really wanted to try to pop down 🙄But truthfully 💔 couldn't faceup to this 😢 We are soo sorry not to pop in for a bit 😢 but we're thankful for what your doing to help us as a ☀️family 💞 On the way home from Spain 🇪🇸 I kept seeing some really weird cloud formations & the weather was really quite something 🙄 can anyone see what I mean or what I saw 🙄 Sami Shelford & Michael South hid 9 rocks yesterday on their walk for Sumner ☀️ Then tried to get dinner ready kids hungry but not Sue & I 😔 truth is we feel sooo guilty eating without ☀️ Sumner there 😢 & when we do were not wanting or enjoying it 🙄 our lives will never ever be the same 😢 without 😢 This morning Curtis, Perry, Torrie & Bay-Hesty went squash training at K2 👊 After lunch we all decided to be with Sumner at ☀️ 2.15pm & listen to some music that we know he loves 💖 Cheryl Gooden & Aiden popped in 💞 & then aunty Yasmin Malik & aunty Tracy Evans E-d came over this afternoon to help get things ready for when Derek & Julie Smith arrived for dinner together this evening 😍 Everyone helped & all supported each other 💔 Julie made a Sunflower cake to share 🌻 Sumner would have loved this 😍 Today Sami Shelford & Michael South walked just over 18 miles to helps raise funds for Sumners memorial service 😢 Fanx for all your hard work & to everyone 👊 that sponsored them 💖 We still can't sleep properly & understand why we lost Sumner 😢 when we tried our best as s family to help him against DIPG 🤕 Thanks everyone for your kind words, messages, ☀️ cards & flowers 💖 NO more pics of Sumner 🙄 coz I'm sitting here with Sumner at 1.32am & can't quite believe this is all happening to to go to the Funeral 😢 Directors this morning to try to finalise Sumners Funeral 😢 Helen & Lucy are all helpful 😍 & between us & Trevor Howard 💞 We really hope that we will be able to give Sumner the send off that he deserves ☀️ they have been amazing trying to help us arrange 😢what we should never ever have to do & that is lay to rest A child 😢 We have tried to set up a Live Stream of Sumners ☀️ Funeral which should go live about 10 minutes before the start 🎤 We will share a link nearer the service 🙄 so all you need to do is Login 🙄 We hope ☀️so it doesn't matter where you are in the world 🌎 you should be able to stop & see Sumners funeral ☀️ We still have not set a date for the celebration of Sumners life as yet 😔so watch this space 🤗 Thanks for all the cards, flowers & support that you as does all the other comments & messages you all share with us 💕 to help us in the grieving process 💔 Time to open the door to the Funeral Directors 😔 We've had a couple of chats as a family about what we would like to do & say for Sumners funeral 😢💔 arrangements ☀️ & the funeral directors art7ved in a bright yellow car 🚕 good start ☀️ & both ladies Helen & Lucy were very helpful & took time to find out what we might want or need 💞 some 1.5 hours later & we had most things in place 🙄 phew luckily coz team Malik spoke alot to each other over the last few days 😢 We kinda had an idea of what Sumner might like 😍 Watch this space 🙄 unfortunately we are limited for space & for this reason cannot make this first service fully open to the Public & All our amazing supporters 😢 Please we hope that you understand 💔 it hurts us NOT to be able to invite everyone at this stage that was touched by Sumners Battle 🤕 with DIPG 😢 We will in due course release a date for Sumners ☀️ Celebration of Matthew Hewitt the current World Deaf Champion 🏆 After a vegetable curry dinner & another family chat re the order of service 🎼🎵🎶🎵 🎤 We as a family really hope to give Sumner the best send off that we We have found this extremely hard to get on with due to the speed in which Sumner left us 😢💔 We will be trying to have 2 services 💕 one to lay his body to rest & another to have a celebration of ☀️💞 Sumners life ❤ Sue & Torrie Malik tried to take a footprint of Sumner today as a keepsake 😍 Today in the post a PSA Ali Farag signed Squash Shirt for Sumner 🙄 fanx Ali 👊 & we played Sumners Cairo Egypt memory video that Bill Coates produced for us ❤ to Sumner 🙄 Today Stuart Parish & Jo Parish who have raised much funds towards Sumners 💞 alternative treatments 🤕 Managed to come to see team Malik for lunch 💕 Stuart grabbed food on route to share with us & it was good to see them with the children James & Daniel 💕 lunch was great espeacially as Stuart turned his hand to the preparation 😜 This afternoon Curtis, Perry, Torrie & Bay-Hesty wanted to go Squash Training at K2 🎾 Sue popped to see Cheryl Gooden & I had a couple of meetings to gain ideas for Sumners arrangements 😔 Thank you everyone for your continued support of messages, cards, flowers & visits ☀️ during what is a very difficult time for us as a family 💔 We realise that some pics & clips are quite distressing 😢 but life is full of ups & downs 🙄 having shared Sumners journey for nearly 2 years we felt that the DIPG monster had to be seen 😔 yes it's not nice & it hurts soo much 💔 😢 14/8/2018 0 Comments Sumner TuesdayEveryone feels empty & sick inside 😢 But we are trying to deal with our terrible loss 😢 At lunchtime today Sue & I went to Register Sumners passing 😢 for the D-Cert 😔 We walked into the waiting area 🙄 & there are two ladies waiting to 💞 register the births of their newborn 💞 soo lovely but in truth not great timing by us when we are there to do the complete opposite 😢💔 Fanx Karen Johnson for our beautiful collage with our families names in & some other healing words 💞 Today we watched a couple of heart wrenching clips of Sumner 😔 slowly shutting down in terms of his breathing 💔 at the time Sumners dear loving siblings genuinely thought 🙄 that he was just trying to clear his throat 😢 or cough 🤕 Unfortunately the Nature of the Beast that is DIPG 🧠 Brain Tumor was slowly shutting down Sumners vital life functions breathing & heart 😢💔 ""PLEASE ONLY WATCH IF YOU WANT TO AS THIS IS QUITE UPSETTING"" 🙄 We are only sharing to show the horrific nature of Sumners Brain Tumor DIPG 🧠🤕 & the LOVE we have for Sumner our little soldier 😢 There have been some lovely candle lit tributes from around the world & soo many likes, shares & comments of support for our loss 💔 & towards our family 💞 & some flowers from the England Squash 🏴 Team 🤗Thank you ☀️ Again today a steady flow of friends & relatives dropping in cards, flowers, food & condolences to help us up 😔 We're lucky & thankful 💞but seriously wounded 💔 😢 We will try to set a date for Sumners Celebration of Life Service soon 🙄please come if you can & it will be Sunshine4Sumner Shirts or Yellow/Red/Orange ☀️ Colours for sure 👊☀️💞 Please if anyone has any ideas to help us or contacts to really make Sumners send off one to remember 🤗 Please message me Camron on messenger 🙄 ❤ & as Sumner would say..........  13/8/2018 0 Comments Sumner Sunflower MondayAs a family we feel sooo Empty & Lost 💔 Sumners our baby ☀️ We still find we go into see Sumner & talk to him & cuddle him 💞 & to just know that he's safe 😔 We all want him back 😢💔 We really didn't expect Sumner to go so quickly when we took him into the Royal Marsden Hospital on Friday the 10th 😢 this was the earliest day they could carry out Sumners 🧠Radiotherapy 🤕 We really are trying to read & reply to all your 🙄 comments & messages of support & condolences 💞 But as Sue & I read them 🙄 it brings tears to our eyes to read such beautiful quotes, messages & memories 😢 thank you for loving our dear son Sumner ☀️ Today a steady stream of family & friends popped in to pay their respects & share our heartache 💔 We had a Sunflower 🌞 Invasion sent & dropped off by our amazing supporters & friends 💞 Fanx to Kaie Warren for sending Sumner & Team Malik a few gifts 😍 All the way from Georgia 🙄 see pics We still have not set a date to lay Sumner to rest 😔 but hopefully in the next day or so we will have a better idea ☀️ as soon as we know we will share & please try to come if you can 💞 Because without you 🙄 we would never have got this far 😍 Curtis, Perry, Torrie & Bay-Hesty went squash training at K2 👊 but I really didn't want to go 😢 & Sue went to see the doctor 😢 All had dinner this evening with a couple of friends at home 😍 but we are feeling really low & sick 😢😢😢 please this feeling is unbearable 💔😢💔😢💔 Especially when you see Bay-Hesty make a cup of tea & go to sit with Sumner before bed for a comfort chat 💞 before bed 😢  12/8/2018 0 Comments Sumner SundaySue & I couldn't really sleep 😔 crying & wanting Sumner back sooo much 💔3am I found my darling wife Sue sobbing next to Sumner 😢 wanting to ❤restore warmth into him 💔😢
We were hoping to wake up & find that we'd been 🙄 dreaming that Sumner had gone 💔 but he hadn't & it was all just a horrible dream 😢 The whole family has been overwhelmed by messages of support, prayer & condolences 💞 We also had Sumner ready for viewing & people to light a candle to say their goodbyes 😢💔at the house or wherever you were ☀️ We had a lovely steady flow of family & friends visit us to pay their respects to our dearest Sunshine Sumner ☀️ We also gave them the chance to write in a small book their condolences 💔 & many people did so 💞 Thank to Leanne Durrant for bringing over some milk 😜 & Tracey Giblett for bringing over biscuits 🙄 Tracey also dropped off some food for dinner tonight 💞 for us 😢 soo kind 💞 Many people lit their own candles & shared on fb & some with the bears that Suzan Malik has made to help us raise funds 🤕 Please still support some of Sumners fund raising 💞 friends that will now be doing there fund raising in Sumners Memory 💔 We have genuinly had soo much support & messages from you all on Sumners Daily Facebook Blog 💕 it's soo kind & reassuring 🙄 & Trevor Howard has offered to take Sumners Service at the time to be confirmed for the Funeral 🙄 Sumner has remained very peaceful & we thank you all for taking the time to either visit or do you own tribute or candle ☀️ shared on here 💞 We are feeling soo sad at the extremely quick end to Sumners battle with DIPG 😢 We had a family dinner together 🙄 but Sumner was not at the table 😢😢😢triple trouble has......... 😢😢 Torrie lit a candle & put on Sumners place matt at the dinner table 💔 beautiful but still sooo hard 😢 & we are sooo sad 😔 & fanx to Jackie & John Stephens for popping in after a long day themselves to help 💞 comfort us 😢 sooo kind 😍 & thank you everyone that's reached out to us today with words, gifts & memories 💞 |
